The Peach Awards

First, a little background on the Peach Awards.  The Peach Awards began awarding for the year 1945.  In the 40’s and 50’s Peach was a really “hot” word.  When things were great, things were “peachy”.  If a girl was really nice, she was a “peach”.  That is where the Peach Awards originated.  The first winner was for 1945, Olivia de Havilland.   Ms. de Havilland displayed beauty and grace, while working under the pressures of the public eye.  She stared on both stage and screen, including “Gone With The Wind”!

Some of our other past winners include, Mamie Van Doren, Dorothy DeBorba, Karolyn Grimes, Joan Fontaine, Lizabeth Scott, Dixie Evans, Abbe Lane, Ann Blyth, Doris Day, Jean Carson, Elizabeth Taylor, Brigitte Bardot, Hillary Swank, Barbara Eden, Ann-Margret, Raquel Welch, Valerie Bertinelli, Barbara Striesand, Jane Seymour, Sarah Jessica Parker and Brittany Spears!  An impressive and diverse list!

Thanks for visiting.  You're Peachy!
